Make sure to register to hear more and get access to the zoom links moving forward. Our next conversation: 7th of July: Israeli Politics Who is Josh Koonin? Josh Koonin is a former political adviser, political analyst and educator. Josh grew up in the Australian Jewish community and joined the Liberal Party while studying at Sydney University. Within the party, he served as vice president of the NSW Young Liberals, Young Liberal Federal Education Director and as an adviser to government ministers. Josh also worked on numerous political campaigns. In 2012 Josh spent several months in Israel and gained experience in an Israeli political office before founding International Political Seminars which provides political based study tours in Israel, the United States, South Africa, the UK, and other countries. The organisation also provides political analysis and Josh has written for numerous publications. Clients have included government ministers, diplomats, journalists, student groups and many ordinary individuals. Josh is a long time friend of AUJS having run tours in the past in Israel for students. He holds degrees in Arts and Law from Sydney University, is qualified to practice law throughout Australia, and is a licensed Israeli tour guide.
