In addition to workshops, professional mentors, regional political tours and project seed funding, the Fellowship is proud to show our Fellows what options are available for their careers in the future and to help them achieve those goals.
The Fellowship intends to empower a new generation of leaders with this sense of civic duty and the resources necessary to deliver a meaningful contribution to their campuses and the wider community.
Every year, the Fellows are invited to join the AUJS Annual Political training Seminar in Canberra. They have the opportunity to meet and hear from Politicians, Journalists and other non-parliamentary speakers.
Each Fellow is matched with a mentor to complement their personal social and political interests, as well as their professional ambitions.
The Project of the Fellowship is an exciting opportunity for the Fellows to collaboratively apply the skills they are learning towards an initiative they care about.
The Regional Tour visits Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne, and provides the Fellows with insights into different career paths.
The workshop curriculum is designed to teach Fellows across the spectrum of political understanding, the important skills to designing and executing projects, and personal growth and leadership.
The Immersive Retreat kicks off the Fellowship; with four days in regional/seaside Australia, during which time the Fellows learn more about the program, their Fellowship cohort, and themselves.
