The Annual General Meeting

The AUJS Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a pivotal event that brings together members and leaders from across Australia and New Zealand to reflect on the pas year’s achievements, discuss changes for future, and elect new leadership. The gathering serves as a platform for students to engage in thoughtful discussions, network with peers, and collectively shape the goals and initiatives for the upcoming year.

Natalie Gunn will be our Returning Officer for the 2023 Annual General Meeting. Natalie has a wealth of AUJS experience, currently serving as an observer of the AUJS Board, and previously having served as President in 2022 and Vice President in 2021.

This year, the Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 10 September at 3:00PM AEST on Zoom. Information about accessing the Zoom will be provided by the returning officer once you have registered. Registration for our AGM can be found here.

Proposed Constitutional Amendments must be sent to the returning officer by no later than 6pm on Sunday 27th August 2023.

Nominations for Union Executive positions close on Sunday the 3rd of September at 6pm. Please nominate using this form, and if you want to send policy documents out to all voting delegates please email those to the returning officer.

Policy Motions must be submitted through this form by Sunday the 3rd of September.
