University Campus Being a student at Swinburne is not just coming away with a piece of paper and a list of results. It's about getting real experience through Swinburne's practical courses. Students study in small classes, and have the advantage of learning in a caring study environment with exceptional access to teachers and innovative learning resources. Whether you want to study International Business, Engineering, I.T., Arts or Biotech Swinburne has it all!
Uni life at Swinburne is unbelievable with 3 bars on campus, plus many cafes as well as hundreds of shops on Glenferrie Road, right next to Swinburne Uni campus. Want to go to St Kilda Beach? The #16 tram outside Swinburne Uni campus will take you there in under 30 minutes. Want to go into the city? With a train station in the middle of the campus you can be having a bagel with cream cheese and lox at Glicks in the city in under 8 minutes! |
AUJS Presence at Swinburne
|
AUJS Swinburne, one of the biggest clubs at Swinburne University caters to the needs of all members - both higher education and TAFE. With a strong and vocal presence on campus, AUJS Swinburne provides real value for its membership base. AUJS Swinburne is extremely active in educating all students on campus about Israel, Zionism and Judaism. AUJS Swinburne relentlessly advocates Israel on campus to counter-act anti-Israel rhetoric. AUJS Swinburne has thus been successful in making students at Swinburne some of the most pro-Israel in Australia. AUJS Swinburne also acts on behalf of students who have suffered some form of antisemitism.

 |
A big achievement of AUJS Swinburne has been lobbying Swinburne to establish a synagogue on campus. A synagogue will now be built by 2009. So, whether you go to Swinburne or not, check out when we're having a stall next and come by for a free falafel, Goldstar beer, bagel or farbreiggien.
