Costs and Payments

The cost of AUJS Academy Onward Israel 2017-18 is AU$6,000.  

Price includes: Flights, accommodation, food transport and all other tour costs while on the program.

Price excludes: Travel insurance, mobile phones and personal expenses over the free weekend, free days and free time.

Payment Schedule

Four consecutive monthly instalments, starting on June 2017, with the final instalment paid by September 2017.  the payment schedule is as follows: 

Deposit: Monday, 26 June 2017 (non-refundable) AU$1,000
1. Payment: Monday, 24 July 2017   AU$1,700
2. Payment: Monday, 14 August 2017   AU$1,650
3. Payment: Monday, 11 September 2017    AU$1,650

 

Refund Policy 

In order to secure a place in the AUJS Academy Program, the Participant’s application must be accompanied by a AU$30 registration fee and an initial deposit of AU$1,000 (non-refundable). The deposit must be received by 5pm on Monday 26 June 2017. Failure to meet this deadline may (at the sole discretion of AUJS) may result in the Participant’s place in the Program being forfeited. Applications may (at the sole discretion of AUJS) be accepted after 5pm on Monday 11 September 2017.

Subsidies

General Subsidies:

We believe that price should never be a barrier in attending an AUJS Israel Program.

Subsidies are available for applicants from all States. The application process includes an application form (available from: ip@aujs.com.au) and documentation to support the application.

 

Other Financial Assistance:

JCA Millie Phillips Jewish Education Fund

Means-tested subsidies are available for applicants from NSW, ACT and WA. The application process includes an application form (email ip@aujs.com.au) and relevant documentation to support the application.

Jewish Care

Jewish Care in Victoria offers an interest free loan for those experiencing financial difficulty.

The Asher Israel Scholarship

As a living memory to Richard Asher Wajnblum, the sum of a return ticket to Israel will be provided for young person between the ages of 17-25 wishing to spend time in Israel for a minimum period of 6 weeks.
