This unique tour is designed to inspire participants and give them a stronger connection to the Jewish people, Jewish life and the land of Israel - all whilst having a great time! Together with other young Australians, you will be able to enjoy the touring, spiritual and educational activities. Taglit-Birthright Israel takes participants to many of Israel's main tourist attractions, including:
8 young Israelis will join participants for 5 days of the program. This allows participants to meet Israelis, learn some Hebrew and make great friends! This free trip includes flights, accommodation, transport, 2 meals per day and entrance to all sites. Participants will be required to cover the cost of travel insurance, 1 meal per day, their personal mobile phone, AU$50 as tips for the bus driver and tour guide (as is customary in Israel) and spending money. Taglit-Birthright Israel is a partnership between the people of Israel through their government, local Jewish communities and leading Jewish philanthropists. The ZFA, with the support and the initiative of the United Israel Appeal, is proud to represent the Australian Jewish Community as the local partner in this ambitious project.
