Since its introduction to Australasian Jewry, AUJS has been the largest provider of Taglit-Birthright Israel programs.
The Taglit-Birthright Israel trip is a gift of 10 introductory days in Israel, providing a first-time, peer group,
educational experience for young Jewish adults between the ages of school leaver to 26. This unique introductory tour is
designed to inspire participants and give them a stronger connection to the Jewish people, Jewish life and to the Jewish land of Israel all whilst having a great time.
Taglit-Birthright Israel is an innovative partnership between the people of Israel through the Government of Israel, private philanthropists through the Birthright Israel Foundation and Jewish communities around the world.
The ZFA, with the support and initiative of the United Israel Appeal, is proud to represent the Australian Jewish community as the local partner in this ambitious project.
AUJS is pleased to announce that another Taglit-Birthright Israel group has been confirmed for early 2010!
Exact dates are still being confirmed but it looks to run in late January / early February 2010.
