Israel Peace Week 2012
The aim of Israel Peace Week is to create a space on campus that promotes dialogue and co-operation. It's about changing the tone of discussion away from one of polarising debate to understanding other perspectives, finding common goals and exploring what role we – as students – should play in easing tensions stemming from the conflict in the Middle East.
To help convey this message of peace we will be campaigning in free hugs shirts and demonstrating that the best way to support both sides in the Middle East conflict is to support a peaceful and mutually beneficial outcome.
Campaigning will be happening at USYD from 10:00 AM on the 1st of May until Thursday the 3rd of May, at UTS from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM on the 3rd of May, and at UNSW from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM from the 7th until the 10th of May.
