AUJS Heritage Tour

We Shall Never Forget...

Experience two countries that were deeply affected during the Holocaust in an incredibly educational, historical and meaningful tour. With Holocaust seminars held before and after your Europe tour at Yad Vashem in Israel, and five nights in Poland and two nights in Prague, AUJS Heritage Tour provides you with the opportunity to travel back through time and learn about the life of these Jewish communities before, during and after World War II.

In Poland, you will visit the city of Lublin and walk around the ghettos of Warsaw and Krakow and discover the places where Jewish life once flourished (including synagogues and theatres). You will meet with Polish students, hear incredible stories of Righteous Gentiles and become a witness to the sites of Auschwitz-Birkenau, Treblinka and Majdanek.

In Prague, tour the Jewish Quarter with its ancient synagogues and rich history, explore the Terezin Ghetto and see the modern day sights of Prague  including the Prague Castle and Carl Bridge.

Participants can join the AUJS Heritage Tour at the end of AUJS's Academy and Taglit - Birthright Israel programs, or participants can meet the group in Israel for the start of the program.
